Mobile Thief or Spider-Man?

 Mobile Thief or Spider-Man?

Picture of Spider-Man Perched on a Steel Rail

It was an interesting read, both from the newspapers and on Twitter.

The snatching of a mobile phone from a moving train. The incident is reported to be from Begusarai, in the Indian state of Bihar.

The whole sequence was recorded by one of the fellow passengers on the same train.

According to reports, the train Patna-Katihar Intercity Express was passing over the bridge Rajendra Sethu, across the river Ganga.
Passengers were eagerly filming from the train while crossing the bridge.

One of the passengers was recording the scene, sitting near the door of the train compartment.
His hand with the phone was slightly stretched out.
A thief who was hanging on the rail of the bridge and waiting for the right moment snatched the mobile phone from the passenger who was on the moving train.
Helpless and more amused than shocked the person who lost the phone was more eager to see how the thief could have done this.

The thief had not put on his shirt, instead, he swapped his shirt for a mask. The way the thief was perched on the bridge and his attire prompted netizens to compare him to spider-man.

The lessons from the incident are listed below:

1) Never travel standing by the open door of any means of transport.

2) Be vigilant when you are out and about.

3) Within a blink of an eye situations may change. Imagine the thief gripping your wrist instead of your phone. A miscalculated attempt could be a life-threatening situation.

4) Keep the phone security features enabled to secure the contents of the phone from falling into wrong hands.

Essay on Elephants for School Children

 Elephants

Elephant is the largest living land animal.

The elephant is unique from other animals in its appearance. It has a long nose which is also called it's trunk. The elephant's ears are large, wide and flat. Elephants are grey or brownish-black in colour.

It is about 2.7 meters tall. It weighs about  3000 to 6000 kilograms.

The elephant performs many activities with its trunk. The trunk is used to smell food and lift it upto it's mouth. Elephants eat grass, green leaves and fruits.

The trunk is also used to pull down branches of trees to consume the leaves. The trunk is of great use in drinking water as well.

There are 3 types of elephants.

They are the Asian Elephant,

The African Savannah elephant.

The African forest elephant.

Both Male and female African elephants have long tusks. But only male Asian elephants have tusks. Tusks are long teeth projecting out from the mouth of an elephant.

It is unfortunate that more and more African elephants are killed for their ivory tusks.

Likewise the Asian elephants are not fortunate either. Their habitat is destroyed leaving them hungry for food. They move toward the edges of forests into farm lands where they are killed.

They are tamed and used in plantations to carry wooden logs and to carry people in difficult terrains.

They are also trained to perform in circus shows and other events.

There are several stories involving elephants indicating their close relation with humans

Write the value of sum1 after execution of the following WHILE loop

Compiled code for "Write the value of sum1 after execution of the following WHILE loop"

Working of the code is given below:

Given int i=1 ; and sum1=0
From codesum1= sum1+iValue of i-at this point
= 0 +1 = 1Due to i=i+21+2=3
Now i=3which is < 10= 1 +3 = 4Due to i=i+23+2=5
Now i=5which is < 10= 4+5 = 9Due to i=i+25+2=7
Now i=7which is < 10= 9+7 = 16Due to i=i+27+2=9
Now i=9which is < 10= 16+9 = 25Due to i=i+29+2=11
Now i=11which is not < 10 so the code ends.Output =25
